Essere o ffendere (to be or to cleave/offend)

haybridizaction 13

Milan (Italy), December 12th
Duration, the whole day.

What’s more beautiful than expressing your ideas, respecting others, hoping to be able to argue them and expecting objections, too. What is more human than feeling free and light, always with respect for others, in freeing one’s opinions and in the hope of being confronted, even bitterly, with those like you who don’t think?

It seems that now it is no longer possible to assert one’s own thought openly and civilly without this generating personal attacks, often groundless and not very dialectical.

What sounds strange is not the dissent that generates an affirmation but the physical, and therefore also psychic, lack of the contradictor. Hiding the counterpart, the original reason for the dialectic itself disappears. What remains is the possibility of choosing to be or cleave or to offend.

With the collaboration of Giulia Savorani and Simone Poggesi, Valentina Cavion, Davide Stani, Damir Jellici and Me Security. Thanks to Marco Secondin for the precious contribution.
