I took small surfaces of white plaster from the walls of different environments. I made the tears in the circles of the art world, in academies, museums, art galleries, collectors’ homes, etc.
Each tear inherits its title from its original environment, thus generating “Bianco Accademia”, “Bianco Galleria”, “Bianco Museo”, etc.
These are parietal skins that, over time, have “seen and experienced” everything that has passed there. Surfaces that have tasted the back of the paintings, interacted with works hanging in front or placed on the ground, that have heard criticisms and comments, derisions and praise for works and authors.
