Znojle is a small village in northern Slovenia. it is inhabited only by a few souls and the houses are mostly dilapidated. The landscape leads the visitor back to the last century. Nettles everywhere; they grow tall and surround the houses.
An uncultivated field is said to be abandoned to the nettles … and I wanted to redeem the negative image that the vegetable transferred to the place.
On the map of the village I have identified ten points, like chakras. In each of these places I looked for nettle, I offered my blood and I received its sap. Suddenly Znojle is repopulated and takes shape and the body is a village.
The viewer has a map in his hand that guides him to discover a place that is neither a village nor a body. Ten signs mark the places of action.
